Irish Memorial

Being Irish myself I was a little overwhelmed by this incredible monument at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia. In remembrance of Irish immigrants during the potato famine, on the right side of the picture are Irish immigrants getting off a ship in America. On the left side of the picture are grave markers of their family members that they left behind in Ireland.
